Cleaning up the Capital - the Beaverbrook edition - 2023
The City of Ottawa is kicking off Cleaning the Capital from April 15, to May 31.
For Beaverbrook we suggest you delay cleanup until after the May 6 weekend as many areas will be muddy and vulnerable to foot traffic damage, particularly if it is a soggy spring.
The KBCA will be hosting a clean up day at 10 AM, Saturday May 13 with a rain date of 10 AM, Sunday May 14 at the west end parking lot of the Beaverbrook Centre (map here: 1002 Beaverbrook Rd) -
- Restricted to cleaning up public areas, pathways, parks, etc.

- If you have already cleaned up an area or are planning to, let the KBCA know (email, below):
- If you are not sure where to do clean-up, contact the KBCA and we'll assign an area
- The KBCA has garbage bags and vinyl gloves for pickup
- Please take the full bags home for disposal with regular garbage, but if not let KBCA know and we'll arrange for pick-up

- Numbers: 2, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15
- Letters: B, H, J, K, L, M
Priority areas not claimed for cleanup:
- Numbers: 1, 3, 4, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18
- Letters: A, C, D, E, F, I, N
