Two developers are applying to develop 150 and 180 Kanata Avenue. These are important projects for Kanata North as their backyard is the Bill Teron Park (formerly Kanata Central Park)
These are located on the west verge of Kanata Avenue, which will remove some of the trees (which will be replaced) and be located below the escarpment which is part of the Bill Teron Park. The locations of these developments have been planned for some time, appearing in the original plan for a new Kanata Town Centre prior to the City of Ottawa amalgamation.
