Do you love the trees of Beaverbrook and have an interest in their well-being?
Consider volunteering with NeighbourWoods© in Beaverbrook,
a community forest stewardship project.

Join the 'NeighbourWoods in Beaverbrook' tree inventory training session on Saturday June 9 and Sunday June 10, organized by the KBCA. Developed by University of Toronto Forestry professors, the training is for anyone interested in Beaverbrook’s valuable natural resource: our trees. You will learn how to identify tree species and to assess tree health and condition. After the course, you will be placed on teams to inventory trees on Beaverbrook streets. Data from the inventory will be used to assess the health of existing trees and to support decisions about future needs. High school students are welcome.
