The organizers of the Beaverbrook Walkability Audit are looking for volunteers. The Walkability Audit will evaluate the conditions and safety of the sidewalk and pathway network throughout Beaverbrook. This project is part of a study of several communities that is being coordinated by the City of Ottawa's Council on Aging.
Volunteers are needed for Saturday, October 25th from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Small groups of walkers will each be provided with a clip board, map, and a survey checklist. Each group will be assigned a route of 1 to 2 km. We'll meet at the Beaverbrook Community Centre at 1 PM
